I was so touched and delighted on Christmas Day to receive my Porthmeor limpet necklace. Made from a shell from our happy place. Thank you so much! Please keep on doing what you do so well.

I have recently completed a really inspiring course of experimental painting with artist Dan Pyne at the Newlyn School of Art. Exploring surface textures, paint effects & unique surfaces with alternative materials has given me a plethora of new ideas! I am looking forward to creating new artwork incorporating some of these techniques.
The annual event in St Just at Cape Cornwall School continues until 5 pm Friday this week. The show raises fund for Cancer Research UK & includes over 200 exhibitors of art & craft work all made within a 30 mile radius of the area. I am exhibiting metalwork & artwork at the exhibition.
After a three day course with Hilary Jean Gibson, through the St Ives School of Painting, I created a sketchbook of observations made at the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden. Here I am sharing some of the pages & ideas.
