Back Road Artworks

Back Road Artworks is a large cooperative bright gallery space in the heart of the Downalong area of St Ives. It was converted from Stevens Fish shop into a collective exhibiting space for local artists in 2012. I joined in September 2019 & I exhibit my work there successfully alongside 4 other artists. We run the gallery ourselves taking turns to steward. My usual day is Monday however this occasionally changes if dates are swapped.

I try to keep a good representation of my range of work on display including my jewellery & greetings cards. The gallery is in an ideal location with its close proximity to our own gallery space just down the road on Island Square. During quieter months visitors can find us creating while we are in the gallery & it is an ideal opportunity to discuss our creative practice or talk about a commission.

Back Road Artworks is currently open Monday - Saturday 11am - 5pm

(changing to a 4pm close in the winter months)
