A one off metalwork creation inspired by nature.
Horse chestnut, lime & sycamore leaves are combined in this unique piece.
The pieces are individually silver soldered onto either a copper or brass back plate to contrast the colours. Flux and heat create the interesting colour variations. The links are soldered closed in between each section so will not pull apart.
The piece has been lacquered to highlight the colours & protect the surface.
Designed for indoor display but could be placed outside - the metals will not rust but would patinate gently over time.
The panel measures approx 13 cm wide by 44.5 cm long
The piece includes a small brass tag with SMc initials & date/ref stamped into it. This one is 22-32
