Sterling silver earrings created from beach finds on Porthmeor beach in St Ives.
A small piece of sea urchin has been worn by the sea to create theses little fragments.
The solid silver casting picks up all of the textured surface of the piece. The silver has been polished & then oxidised to highlight the textures. For a shell the piece is surprisingly thick.
SIZE: The fragment measures approx 10 mm x 18 mm supplied with silver earring hooks.
