A stunning bold sterling silver necklace handmade by Sharon McSwiney in St Ives, Cornwall.
The limpet shell has been cast from an original shell found in St Ives many years ago by a good friend. She asked if I could recreate the shell in silver for her. I made 2 pieces, one for my friend & this is the other one. The silver has been polished to highlight the textures. The shell has not be altered in anyway before casting it is just as it was found...
Inspired by the sea this piece really captures the light & makes a real statement.
SIZE: The solid heavy silver shell measures 40 mm x 34 mm x 11 mm approx. & is supplied on a 16" 2.4 mm snake chain. The piece has been hallmarked.
Supplied in a gift box with small card as shown.
Alternative chain lengths can be supplied at an additional cost if required.
