A stunning simple sterling silver limpet shell necklace handmade by Sharon McSwiney in St Ives, Cornwall. The limpet shell has been cast from an original shell found at Mousehole (pronounced 'Muzzle') near Penzance while beach combing in the little harbour.
The silver has been polished to a bright finish which highlights the textures. The shell has not be altered in anyway before casting it is just as it was found...
Inspired by the sea this piece is a really great example of a well worn shell which may have been tumbling around the Cornish coast for many years.
SIZE: The limpet shell measures approx 32mm x 26mm. The solid shell & 18" 1.2mm snake chain weigh approx 10g in total. This piece is hallmarked.
Supplied in a gift box with small card as shown.
I also make this piece in a bright silver finish please contact for details if not listed. Available on alternative length snake chains 16" or 20" please contact me for details.
