An unusual silver turtle brooch created by Sharon McSwiney. Handcrafted in St Ives, Cornwall.
A stylised design with lots of surface pattern to decorate the shell of the turtle.
The oxidised sterling silver has been brush finished to highlight the designs. The brooch is then lacquered to protect the surface. Due to the handmade nature of this item there may be slight variations in colour & texture to the example shown.
The brooch approx weight is 13g. The turtle measures approx 42mm long x 38mm wide.
This piece is hallmarked. The catch mechanism will keep the brooch safe while being worn. Looks great on a jacket or jumper/sweater.
