We are on the move....

After nearly 8 years in our location at the Drill Hall in St Ives we have made the decision to move to a new gallery space....

When we moved to St Ives in 2013 we actually found the shop outlet before we found our cottage! It was a very busy time relocating our lives from Worcestershire to Cornwall.  The past few years have flown by & we enjoy every moment of being by the sea.

We now feel it is time for a change & have been lucky enough to take over the former 'Ponckles Cat Gallery' on Island Square here in St Ives.  It feels really appropriate to be in a gallery which has such a cat connection!  We were fortunate enough to meet Ponckle herself on our first visit to St Ives many years ago & bought a small painting from her.  Years later we were invited round for afternoon tea & somewhere I have a photograph of Tim draped in her cats!!

We have been busy decorating both inside & out at the gallery the past couple of weeks with a view to opening on the 12th April (as long as non-essential retail is still allowed to do so...).  It is such a lovely space, really light & airy & has a great feeling to it.  The added bonus is the outside terrace area where Tim will be spending plenty of time I imagine in the summer! He is also creating some planters so we can have some of our favorite succulents insitu...

The floor was sanded at the weekend so once that is finished we can start moving the cabinets in & the fun starts creating a new display. We have more room to exhibit my paintings & there are 3 new ones framed ready to hang.  I have been busy making metalwork pieces which will sit alongside this new work.

We hope to open on 12th April & welcome you into our new space.

In the mean time there is a selection of work available via the website & once we are open at the gallery there will be more time to add to the site too!
