About Us

In May 2013 I moved my home & business to St Ives in Cornwall. This has been a long held dream to be by the sea & St Ives has such a thriving artist community, fabulous galleries, beaches & scenery – I feel very lucky to be living here…..

Twice a year during Cornwall Open Studios & the St Ives Festival I intend to open my studio space where visitors will be able to see me at work still using the jewellers’ bench my grandad made me over 20 years ago.  I don’t need to use a huge amount of equipment; most pieces are created using hand tools such as the piercing saw, pliers, stamps & punches, hammers & my trusty blowtorch.

Generally  I work on several projects during a typical week, making jewellery in small batches alongside more complex larger metalwork plus usually some greetings cards too.  This keeps thing interesting!

Inspiration is from the natural world, textiles, Scandinavian design, folk art & childrens’ illustrations.
My new St Ives shop has a large display of all aspects of my work.  I also show affordable selected pieces by other designer makers including ceramics, glass, wood & textiles.
